Biography of Pastor Floyd D Searcy 

 

Pastor Searcy is a native of Mount Juliet, TN. He is the son of the late Roger Henry Clemmons and the late Thelma Searcy.

 

He has a total of six brothers, one of whom is deceased, and six sisters.

At the age of 16, Pastor was baptized at Rutland Baptist Church by Pastor Stanley Southall.

Achievements: He met the love of his life in 2009, and after five short years and two children, he wed Donna Searcy on May 18, 2014, at the Cedars of Lebanon Primitive Baptist Church, with Pastor Greg Milford officiating. While being members of Cedars of Lebanon Primitive Baptist Church he was a Deacon in training until 2017 when the Lord called him into the ministry. The Lord advised Pastor Floyd Searcy in May of 2020 to move his membership from Cedars to New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. He gained valuable knowledge and wisdom from Pastor Jeffrey Maynard who was so influential in helping gain the necessary skills to go on to become a Pastor. 

 

After accepting his call, Pastor Searcy, who was without a high school diploma, joined the Adult Learning Center in Lebanon, TN, earning his GED in the same year.

 

In 2018 Pastor Floyd Searcy enrolled at the prestigious American Baptist College where he would major in Bible and Theology. 

 

On May 18, 2023, Pastor graduated from American Baptist College with a degree in Bible and Theology and General Studies.

 

On May 13, 2023, Pastor was unanimously voted to become the Pastor at Gladeville Missionary Baptist Church.

 

On June 11th, 2023, he was officially installed as Pastor of Gladeville Missionary Baptist Church 

 

He is a member of the Martin Luther King committee in Lebanon Tn. A dedicated father to five children. Faithful husband to his wife of 9 years Donna. 

 

His call to ministry is as simple as this: he just wants to help the people of God.
